This years Tasmaniacs Winter Lakes Ride will take place on the last weekend in July – 29-30. The proposed charity is Mates4Mates.

Accommodation in Bronte Park is now sold out. Other options are to take your caravan if it has a good heater, Derwent Bridge which is 26km away on bitumen or Great Lake Hotel which is 30km away on gravel.

We will be having the usual 8-Ball Calcutta and running a raffle for riders. We have set a fundraising target of $3000 – if we hit it one S. Ricketts will shave off his beard – which is almost as much a part of his face as a bundy rum can.

Direction is reversed – heading DOWN the hillclimb on day 1 and around Brady’s Lake on day 2.

We will be calling out for some track clearers in the coming months to make sure we have a nice clean run with a few new tracks thrown in to keep it interesting. First session is next Saturday 13 May. Call me on 0409 508 247 to get involved.
